Telegram Order Bot: Pricing, Payments, Delivery & Pickup

When an order depends on several choices, a chat can quickly turn into the same round of questions over and over. A Telegram order bot collects the details in a clear sequence and sends a complete request to the right person. If your pricing rules and integrations are in place, it can also calculate a price, guide the customer to payment, and collect delivery or pickup details.
A bot does not have to automate every step. It can simply organize the order and leave anything that needs a human decision for your team to confirm.

Start with the details that shape the order

Ask only for the information you need to accept or price the order. Depending on the business, that might include the product or model, size, colour, quantity, personalization, preferred date, or another option.
When each option has a clear price, the bot can calculate a total using rules you have set in advance. If a custom order needs a manual estimate, the bot can collect the details and let the customer know that you will confirm the final price.

Where payment fits in

After collecting the order details, the bot can show the next step: pay through a connected checkout, follow a payment link or instructions, or wait for you to confirm the order first. The right flow depends on how the business works and which payment provider is connected.
Decide when the final price is known and when an order counts as confirmed. If you need to review the request before quoting, send it to your team first and share payment instructions only after approval.

Offer delivery, pickup, or both

Let customers choose how they would like to receive the order. For delivery, the bot can ask for the city, address or pickup point, along with any details your team needs. For local pickup, it can show the location and instructions once those are confirmed.
Delivery costs and estimates can be calculated automatically when the rules or carrier integration are set up. Otherwise, the bot can collect the necessary information and pass it to a person for confirmation.

A real example: a custom jewelry order

For my jewelry shop, Magazinchik Vazhnykh Slov, the order bot asks the customer for product details such as size, width, engraving placement and wording. It puts those choices into a request and sends it to the maker on Telegram. This example is about collecting custom-order details; payment and fulfilment are separate steps and depend on the needs of each project.

What to decide before you build

  • Which options and details the customer needs to provide.
  • How each option affects the price, and when the total is final.
  • Which payment methods you accept and when an order is confirmed.
  • Whether you offer delivery, pickup, or both.
  • What delivery information you need and who should receive the finished request.
Once the process is clear, it is easier to turn it into a short, helpful conversation. Start with the essential steps and add other options only when customers need them.

Common questions about Telegram order bots

Can a Telegram bot calculate the final price?

Yes—when your pricing rules are defined. If the price depends on a manual estimate, the bot can collect the options and ask your team to confirm the total.

Can customers pay through a Telegram bot?

That depends on the payment provider and the setup. A bot can guide customers to a connected checkout or payment instructions, but the available payment methods need to be configured for the business.

Can one bot support both delivery and pickup?

Yes. The bot can ask for an address when delivery is selected and show pickup information when the customer chooses collection. Delivery costs or timing should be automated only when reliable rules or a carrier integration are available.
